Hands-on bootcamp in Accra, Ghana

Throwback Thursday to our bootcamp organised by Foundry Camp in Accra, Ghana, on May 3-7th. The bootcamp was held as part of the activities of our Talent Program, that aims at increasing the innovation capacity of local ecosystems by enhancing the technical skills of the African tech communities and professionals.

Our attendees went through the design thinking process and IoT solutions, as well as the concepts and basic laws in electronics. Participants learned how to set up a Wazidev board on the Arduino IDE and solved a practical case using the soil moisture sensor to measure the amount of water in the soil. Last but not least, they have been taken through the journey of setting up the LoRa gateway, transmitting sensor data from an electrical device to the cloud.

Congratulations to all attendees for their successful participation to the event!
